WHERE TO START???
First, if you have any questions at all, please email us or
give us a call, we are happy to help!
Below is a list of things we have found helpful in our cloth diapering
adventure. These are simply suggestions based on our personal
experience.
The number of diapers you should start with will largely depend on the
age of your baby. The list below is assuming you are building a diaper
stash for a newborn. If not, we suggest you consider the number of
disposable diapers your baby uses in a day, and double that for a
minimum number of cloth diapers to start with. This will allow for half
of the diapers to be in use while the other half are being washed. Other
factors to consider when deciding the number of diapers to buy include
whether you are planning to use cloth full-time or part-time and how
often you intend to wash. Building your stash gradually will allow you
to use the funds you would have already been spending to buy
disposables, and will also give you the chance to build your stash based
on your experience and preferences for different cloth diaper styles.
